Jane Hurwitz is the editor of Butterfly Gardener magazine and former director of the Butterfly Garden and Habitat Program for the North American Butterfly Association. She has spent decades observing and writing about the interface of butterflies and gardens. In addition to butterfly gardening, Jane has a life-long maniacal obsession with plants and gardening of all types. She is also an accomplished speaker providing presentations on a variety of gardening topics. Jane authored the book, Butterfly Gardening the North American Butterfly Association Guide hailed by the New York Times Book Review as “… offering a lavish guide… organized by region, and so straightforward… there should soon be more nectar banquets for these important pollinators. Jane will have a book signing following her presentation.
