Great Dixter Gardens

Join Mil Hurley on her learning adventure to the famous Great Dixter Gardens in East Sussex, England. She was fortunate to be admitted into one of their very limited Adult Learning Programs. The horticulture courses at Great Dixter include, week-long symposia, lectures, and workshops. Mil will relay her experiences taking classes run by Head Gardener, Fergus Garrett. She will share their intimate knowledge of the gardens, and their ethos, methods, and plant selections that are used in creating and maintaining the beautiful gardens. The gardens are part of a 15th century estate formerly owned by famed gardener and garden writer, Christopher Lloyd.
